Had my new MX6000HTSC for about two months. Purchased from Beshear's in Oxford, Alabama.

Along with the tractor I got:
  • front end loader and bucket
  • grapple and third function installed - my most used implement so far for helping with land clearing.
  • bush hog
  • grader scraper (for maintaining gravel driveways and dirt roads)
  • 24' equipment trailer
  • pallet forks
  • quick hitch
for $63k. Not sure if that's a great price, but seemed fine to me. I splurged for the cab and it has been worth every penny....

I have access to other implements (box blade, auger, harrows, etc) via my dad and in-laws. We have 10 acres ourselves and help maintain 75+ more of family land - mix of old farm/pasture land that's grown up a bit.

I grew up in the middle of nowhere Alabama, moved off for college and jobs, live on a boat for a while, now back near where I grew up.

Congratulations. I've had my MX6000HSTC for 4-1/2 years now and had an MX6000HST for 15 months before upgrading to the cab model. As you're discovering, the MX tractors are really good utility tractors and the cab is a no-brainer given the climate in Alabama, not to mention the bugs.

The price sounds more than reasonable but there are a lot of variables so hard to know whether you paid typical prices or not, but ultimately it doesn't matter. The difference in what people pay is relatively small compared to the significant investment with these tractors and implements.

As a point of reference, an MX6000HST with R14 tires, front loader and 72" bucket is around $60k using the Build My Kubota tool on Kubota's website. So given your list of implements and the trailer, and the 3rd function I would say that your cost is exceptionally low. A half decent 24 ft equipment trailer is $8k to $10k at least and good one more like $12k.

Welcome to the 6000 club. I’m just beside you in North Georgia.
Check the front axle fluid, they are notorious for being low.
Set the wheels out wide and load them/wheel weights.
Always have something real heavy on the 3pt when really working the loader, they are light in the rear and the LA1065 is strong.

A couple of pictures with my kids at the controls. I don't have as many pictures of the whole tractor as I thought - most of mine are pictures of serial numbers, filters, etc :)

Nice! (y)

One of the easiest and most useful upgrades I did to my MX6000HSTC was to add a door handle on the right side. It's a game changer for sure with the only downside being that you end up with some parts that are next to useless. I have a box of useless parts from both tractors. 😂
