Hydraulic outboard steering on kubota B7100d

Hi everyone,
I have seen quite a few posts with hydraulic steering modifications fitted to all kinds of different small tractors.
Has anyone used a set up from an outboard for a boat?

I was thinking of something like this.

We've already has someone try and make this work, Sorry to tell you but it will not work, the forces are all wrong.
You also would have to spin the steering wheel way too many times to turn it.
And the strength of that cylinder is way too weak to hold up.

I was going to try it with the cylinde/ram across the axle like a lot of other later tractors have.
Just always trying to save a little effort here and there
