Looking for suggestions for an aftermarket suspension seat for my F3060. I replaced the stock seat and springs with new stock but it still bottoms out. I really need to upgrade the seat. My back is getting destroyed. I’m thinking of a Grammer mechanical or air suspension seat. I really don’t want to spend that much but I will if there isn’t another good option. Anyone out there have any luck with a seat upgrade?

There seems to be lots of options out there to choose from but it depends on the vertical height that you need to operate the controls comfortably. I am looking to improve the ride on my zero turn as well. Amazon has an assembly that has a height of 7 1/2" which is about as high as I can comfortably go. It has springs and a shock absorber,

I assume you have tried different spring adjustments on the existing seat? If not, then probably go tighter on the springs so the seat can never bottom out.

That was what was happening on my spring supported seat and was hurting my back from the jarring hits. I am sure I am heavier than most Japanese people (except the Sumo wrestlers) and was closing the movement just from static body weight. Then hitting a bump the seat would “crash” into the bumpers (hard rubber) and cause a good jar on the spine. Tightened the springs up some and now not as much “crashing” unless it is a significant hole/bump.

Thanks Russel. Unfortunately I have the springs tightened as far as possible.
