I recently purchased my first tractor to use around my little place, but with the intention on using it after we buy our forever home/property (min 5 acres) this summer.
I picked up an '09 B2620HSD in great working condition (330 hrs) with an LA364FL front loader and a BH65 backhoe. It also came with a few extras that I have yet to pick up (Anbo grapple rake, unknown post hole digger and unknokwn box scraper). The paint is a little oxidized and it needs a bath, but is in overall pretty good condition.
I paid $10k for the package deal.
Was that a pretty decent deal? I'll try to get a picture or two tomorrow.

I still want to get a mower deck, a roof for shade and perhaps some other misc goodies to go with and will definitely be looking for advice here.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Asylum.

You had me at “backhoe”….;):D:D

I don’t keep up with prices, but it sounds reasonable to me.

Sounds like you got a lot of cool “extras” that will come in handy(y)(y)(y)

Good on you sir!

sounds like you did really well.
With you mentioning you are a) first tractor owner and b) only 330 hours and c) faded paint.... my "spidy sense" tells me you are about to learn how to use and the importance of:

- how to use a grease gun
- how to go through a maintenance check list line item by line item catching up on deferred maintenance items as a tractor almost 2 decades old with such low hours likely has a lot of old oils and greases in it
- how to check the oil level in your front diff's
- the importance a fresh, seasonally appropriate and treated fuel.

welcome

edit: in case you don't have here is the owners manual, lots of good stuff in it like service intervals as everything on this list has due after 15 years.

I paid 2x that in 2020 for the exact same tractor/loader/bh - but mine's a 2015. I use it extensively on 56 acres of rolling appalachian land with mixed timber and open fields. I scrape snow/ice, grade a 0.6 mi long gravel driveway, move trailers, mow with a finish mower, and untold other tasks with it. I probably could have bought bigger but this B2620 does a great job of pretty much everything I ask of it.

Congrats. Enjoy the process of getting to know your Kubbie and use it to improve your land

$10k for a compact TLB sporting really low hours? That's a really good deal! Hopefully the 50 hour and 200 hour services at least were done! And I'd give it the 400 hour service right away. Then just spread out the 70 hour difference between the subsequent 3 or 4 service intervals - stretch them a bit, won't hurt.
