3. I have turf tires on my B7100. Keep in mind, it is a lightweight tractor, without 4wd, so that may influence my experience. I do a lot of work on lawns, and they leave little to no marks. I also do a lot of work with a rear blade on gravel - for the most part, I have no issues here either, but if I am cutting deep I may occasionally break traction with one tire. Usually correctable by diff lock or gently applying one brake. However, in dirt, particularly mud, I would not recommend. Lower pressure does help some with this, but at the cost of a softer tire when carrying weight. If I were in your case, doing more FEL/backhoe work, I might stick with an R4 for the stiffer sidewall. In my case, I'm quite fond of my turfs.

If I'm reading this right ... You have the same misunderstanding about foam as I had when my brother mentioned it to me ...

The foam used in filling tires is very dense and heavy actually, and is puncture proof ... But tire will have to be cut off the rim eventually to replace, places that foam fill are prepared to do that too ...

Well, according to the chart in this thread, foam filled should run about 120 pounds each. It would require about 15 gallons of water to equal that weight. Antifreeze isn't going to be significantly different than plain water. (~8 pounds per gallon)

A bit of online research tells me (from several sources) that I can get 10 gallons, or about 80 pounds in the stock 26x12.00-12 tires, so the foam filled would be heavier.

So, thanks, Shawn, for making me dig into it a bit more! (y)(y)
