I am in need of parts for my L3200 hst. Aside from Kubota, is there a good place to purchase parts from that’s less expensive but still good quality? Or, is it the classic case of you get what you pay for? I need minor things like loader pins, side link and lifter arm.
Thank you in advance!

Pins and side links are pretty universal. Should be able to pick them up anywhere with the correct measurements.

I'd get an OEM lift arm.

Messicks is great.

As long as you’re into paying 80 bucks to ship 40 dollars worth of parts.
Yes, Messicks should figure out some type of free shipping. I went to my local dealer, they did not have the part in stock, but did not have to pay shipping. Messick’s probably could have sent it the next day, but shipping is a killer. I was in the parcels shipping for years, the volume that they must or could ship, they should be getting a good discount from UPS or FedEx. I called my dealer, very close or cheaper for a Kubota part, no shipping or sales tax. But I have to wait.

There are plenty of sources for quality parts outside of Kubota. Things like bearings, fasteners, hitch psrts, tires, coolant, lubricants, hydraulic hoses and fittings, all come to mind. There are plenty of others. OEM lift arms and side links tend to have pretty specific geometries and harder to match.

You are making this overly complixated. The items I listed can be purchased at local agricutural supply stores, auto parts stores, hydraulic supply stores, hardware stores, big box stores, or online.

When the side links on my old B7200 both broke I found generic parts online that fit fine. Brakes from eBay. Tires from SimpleTire. Google is your friend.

Yes, Messicks should figure out some type of free shipping.
I could increase our prices by the amount that shipping costs, then call it free :)
There is no such thing as free shipping. It's the most fair to our local customers to price things appropriately and do our best to charge an honest shipping rate. That's why we don't do weird stuff with our pricing.

Check out your Tractor Supply store in Cheboygan.
I did. No luck. They do have things there. But, for example, the side link is only half the diameter of the oem. Cheaper? Absolutely! About 1/4 the cost. But would never last. That’s why I’m hoping to find an aftermarket company that would carry the equivalent quality, but for less cost. The more I look, the more I believe you get what you pay for. Hoping someone proves me wrong. lol

It doesn’t change the fact that you guys hold the crown for the most absurd shipping costs in the business.

Nobody else even comes close.

There is no such thing as “free”, but I know I personally would settle for “reasonable”.

I know shipping isn't free. But, in the past I've ordered small parts, cylinder kits for example, and had them shipped Fedex or UPS which cost double or more what USPS would have cost for packages under 13 oz.

Shipping costs have changed since I checked, but in my eBay days, USPS was almost always cheapest for small to moderate size packages.

Nowadays usps, fedex, or ups, they all run very similar in pricing on small packages. When you get into larger packges like over 30” then ups or fedex are much cheaper than usps.

Normally USPS will not pick up packages so that can be a real issue to businesses shipping parts.

You can look for second hand parts. Find the Kubota part number in the parts list (Kubota, Messicks, etc) and then search the part number on ebay etc... Most second hand parts sellers use Kubota part numbers.

I use duckduckgo.com as a search engine. It also shows results of businesses that do not pay protection money to google.
