Italian Baked Steak (Pizzaola?).
Had a sirloin tip roast that should work well after thick-sliced into medallions and browned, then sauce put together in the pan with the drippings. I often bake or braise, but used slow cooker today.
Be good with some imported pasta and salad.

You boys have been busy cooking. I marinated up some spicy garlic wings and threw them on the smoker this evening. Will take them in to work and make new friends

I defrosted and cleaned our chest freezer last week in anticipation of a quarter of beef being delivered.
Came across some old chicken wings that need to get used upā¦..
Well I started to smoke a small ham for my self for Easter, fired up the electric smoker,, came in and 5 hours later the ham was still cold and no smoke, da smoker craped out...Now I have to figure whats wrong with that, and do the ham in the oven

Growing up that was my snack more often than not. Sometimes it was graham crackers with butter. My goal was to press the crackers hard enough to make the butter squirt out of the holes and not crush the saltine

Dammit, I didnāt get any pictures of the grill-roasted beef tenderloin, BBQ shrimp, broiled cod, etc.
We had great time with my son and his girl.

Sauce in a Jar
I am not a fan of sauces in a jar but I saw this and was intrigued. It is really good and I have stocked up. Plenty of heat.

All we can afford anymore is veggies. Beef prices are crazy 
. Today's lunch. Baked potatoes on the Kettle with fresh picked chives and last years veggies from the freezer.
That rabbit running around our yard was making me hungry
