Just bought tractor from the same dealership that screwed me on my last tractor. It showed up and I checked the fluids and have used it for an hour. Today was a nice day so I decided to change theboil since this is an old tractor. I removed the single oil plug and there is no oil. I ran a wire inside and still dry. I checked the dipstick and it is still showing over full. Any suggestions????

Either the dipstick you're looking at isn't the engine oil dipstick, or the plug you removed isn't the oil pan drain plug, or both are true. 😂

@North Idaho Wolfman knows way more about these older tractors than I do, but I'm just applying some logic to the problem.

From a position of complete ignorance re the B20, that housing does look more like a clutch housing than an oil pan ... but what the heck do I know! 😂

That does look like a drain for the clutch housing. (normally dry)

I would look forward from there 12-15 inches, my guess is you will find the oil pan and drain plug or plugs.
(some models have 2 plugs, one on either side of the front drive shaft)

I agree that is not the engine oil drain plug in the picture.

See this site for illustrated parts lists

There you can see that the engine oil pan is rectangular in this diagram

If it is the transmission you want to drain then see this diagram of the transmission case.

Item #130 is the fill port, Item #150 may be the drain ports (but I am not certain of that).

@Gatorguy2002 welcome to the forum.

All the above are good answers. But do yourself a favour and find an operator's manual and/or workshop manual. If you cannot find the engine oil drain plug then surely you will also need help with other important maintenance issues arising with an older tractor.

As others have said that is the clutch housing drain and should be dry.

Finding that dry is a good thing!
To drain the hydraulic oil on a B20 it's not a simple one plug oil change, but it's still not that plug.
To change the motor oil, helps if you pull the plug out of the engine oil pan and not the clutch housing.
Look at the envelope top right of your screen. ;)
