New D905 head, heat shield and glow plug dont fit.

I just purchased a new cylinder head for my D905, did a premliminary check and most things seems to fit. Exhaust/intake bolt line up, cylinder head bolts line up and coolant hook up for the lines up. However, the glow plugs from the old head do not thread in as the threads on the new head are bigger and at the top. Secondly, the injector holes only fit for the tip of the injectors and dont allow for the heat shields.

Are the heat shields required for this type of engines? Is this a newer head that doesnt require the shields?

Are there different glow plugs for this head? Again newer head with newer glow plugs?

Any insight on this is very welcomed,

Where exactly did you get the head from?

I purchased it from Ebay with matching part number as spec. I am currently in contact with the seller for more information.

I saw that there was another forum with a similar situation however no update on the outcome. Wondering how comon this is and/or should i just return it and purchase from elsewhere.
