messicks show discontinued as a singular part and in their kit.

what is the 'suction filter' for? engine oil or hydraulic, picture of parts page would help. might go by another number for something else ? usually updated parts have >nnnnnn in the description, nnnnn= serial number.
google was no help, show engine oil filter and wrong part number !
