Grew up watching his shows and movies.

Iconic actor and martial artist Chuck Norris died on Thursday morning, according to a family statement posted on his Instagram account on Friday morning.

"It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace," the post reads.

"To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family. Well, i guess Death is getting an ass kickin’’ today.

I normally would not make joke at this time but I was huge Norris fan and enjoyed the jokes that followed his tough guy image. (Love the memes)

He will be celebrated and missed.

I’d like to think if he had a tractor, it would be orange for sure, and it if there was a problem and needed to split the case, it would’ve been with one chop.

Missing the show, memes, movies and the straight talk.

What was your favorite movie or show with him?

I remember one time back in the 80's when Chuck went down to St. Cloud Florida to help George Van Horn milk some venomous snakes.

Chuck accidentally got bit by a King Cobra. It was a full power shot; the King emptied its venom glands in the strike.

After five days of agonizing pain, the snake died.

Unfortunatly for all of us (Mr. Norris included), Father Time is, and will remain, undefeated.

RIP Chuck!!!

I don't know about the tractor color, I think the Walker Texas Ranger would have a green tractor with yellow wheels. 😊
RIP Ranger

While I"m sad to see a good man gone, there is a bit of a silver lining in this.

We'll all be safer, especially people who live in California.

Since Chuck won't be doing pushups anymore, there should be a lot fewer earthquakes.

:D

It has been said Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice and that once he told a woman to 'calm down' and she did.

Amazing man. RIP.

How much time must pass before we can post some of our favorite Chuck memes?

Chuck Norris enjoyed the jokes about him. He can be seen bantering about them in a number of interviews that I have seen, and even agreed to be included in a movie, solely for the purpose of injecting a Chuck Norris joke.

So it seems to me, as long as they are in good taste, now is the time.

What's in "good taste"? I don't know what his convictions were in his younger days, but for at least the last few decades, Chuck Norris was a devout Christian.

Therefore I think it is ALWAYS disrespectful to post memes that talk about Chuck engaging in immoral behavior. I have seen a few of those. I think there has NEVER been a time when those are acceptable, nor will there ever be.

You asked for an opinion. That's mine.
