Hi -

Just got my machine back from annual servicing at my dealer. As working regen was occasionally hanging (1+ hr) and then would begin the next time I started, they recommended replacing the panel (Kubota picked up the parts cost). Given that the hybrid electrical-mechanical system is the same, it looks like the panel will provide more info, but my tech said operationally no difference - so will still operate at max RPM as recommended.

Has anybody else got experience with this new panel?

Attached is info on it.

Wow that's pretty impressive that Kubota is still trying to help keep these problem children running properly.
I praise them for that. (only after I haul them into the back room for a couple of quick back hands for creating such a monster.) ;)

Upon learning of the availability of and imcreased versatility of the new panel and firmware a few years ago, I tried to get Kubota to replace the one on my B3350 (since sold) without success.

I was told at the time that these updates would be done only on an "as needed" basis.

Perhaps they have changed their "as needed" policy???

The new panel is only installed as part of a reformer repair/replacement.
This panel does not change anything about the operation, just additional operator information.

Agreed, but the additional information allows the operator to force a parked (and/or running, cannot remember) regen in certain situations, a sometimes helpful feature.

I tried to get Kubota to update mine to this level but they would not as the reformer had previously been replaced.

I bundled my B3350 with the farm when I sold it and advised the new owner to ask for the replacement panel when he had trouble, knowing that he would pay little or no attention to the regeneration operating instructions despite my advice. It quickly became a moot point as he quickly drove it off of the bridge on one of the driveways, turning it over and nearly killing himself. Not sure if he ever had it repaired as it needed major repairs.
