Hello, I've built an all steel cab for my 09-10 BX25 itrs working out very well.
I went with the diesel heater as opposed to hot water from the engine and although the heater seems to be capable of producing more than enough heat for our north of 45 degree lat. the problem that I have is the radiator fan sucking the heat from the cab as fast as the heater can make it. I removed the shroud around the battery compartment and stuffed foam in which took care of the problem along with closing up the various holes around the seat and other places but now the engine runs hot, almost red line. I took a piece of the foam out and its running at a good temp but still sucking a lot of cold in the cab.
There doesn't seem to be a way to open up the bottom of the radiator area to allow air in from a different spot so my question is how have others got around this problem, I can't be the only one?
