kind regards

You need to give us more info:
Which model B7500?
Which model mower deck?
What is and is not happening exactly.

HST B7500 60" Deck and as I explained "No lift at all on Deck" and 3 point on rear works perfectly up and down.

Have you followed the lift linkage from the mower to the 3 point hitch arm to make sure that it is still attached correctly and something hasn’t come apart?

Can you manually lift the mower deck up at all?

Do the tractor hydraulics squeal when you try to lift the mower deck (and engine slows RPMs)?

Not knowing where Geelong is, has it recently been below freezing for some time? But not sure why you would want to raise the mower if it is freezing!

Are the brackets that attach the lift linkage to the lift arms bent/deformed?

The only Geelong I know of is about half an hour south west of Melbourne - no chance of anything freezing.

I'm not familiar with the B7500 setup, but I have a B7200 with a 60" belly mower, and I'm only about 5 hours up the road from you.

Here's a few pics of mine - sorry, it's hard to get good pics with everything in the way. If it's a mechanical linkage issue, and yours looks anything like this maybe we can start to troubleshoot ?

Did the mower used to lift and now doesn't ?

Thankyou so much Guys, I know its not much to go on at this stage, I'll check the linkages and report back,,,,I was bit thrown back by this, I'm pondering my next move....a diesel mechanic I've bought off is $180hr thats just a bit hard at the moment.
many thanks......

Given that it's slotted and the pin isn't fixed in the slot I would assume it's intended to move up and down so that's probably ok.

From your pic it looks like the rod I've marked with a green arrow should get pulled back when you want to raise the mower, I'm guessing it should raise at the same time as the 3 point (others feel free to jump in if I'm on the wrong track).

Can you take some pics of what's at the other end of that rod ?

On mine a rod that does a similar thing is pinned to a bracket that sits over the lower 3 point arm so that it's pulled back when the 3 point is raised. I've marked this on mine with a red arrow below.

thanks again Paul, Look I don't understand the hydraulics, on the lift mechanism. I'm going to have to
do a short course on the lift mechanism to get to some idea if there is something wrong with linkages.
that I can attend to. At the moment I'm poking around blind. If it gets to a mechanic I'd like to get up to speed and be prepared for an outcome.
I do have the manual somewhere, its been a long time.
thanks again....
