Decide on if you want a DPOCV (dual pilot operated check valve) on it or not…BEFORE you order it.

They prevent “drift down” and are a bitch/impossible/PITA to install afterwards. ;)

EDIT; Some people don’t want one cause, you can’t use “float mode” I guess?

You might want to match the center to center distance between the pin holes on the threaded top link when fully extended and retracted.

I believe that the ideal length is about 20"-29" for the smaller M series models.
A 2 1/2" dia up to a 3" dia cylinder should be used.

Look at the following link, base the mid stroke of the hydraulic unit on the asked for dimension, plus or minus a fraction of an inch.

Good luck. :)

My Brother recently purchased a used M4800SU that came with factory installed rear hydraulics. We are wondering if this Top Link would work with his tractor?

Anything in particular to be considered when adding a Top Link (other than category of course)?

Thank You in advance for any information. Flint.

I suggest that you get one made by FitRite (aka @MtnViewRanch). Then it will function perfectly on the tractor (assuming you provide all the correct dimensions).
