There are two YouTube videos about removing and attaching these units to your tractor.
Installing:
Removing:
Unfortunely they omit the parts showing the removal/installation of the line drive shafts. The manual hints that you install the rear shaft AFTER mounting the subframe AND snowblower. I'd like to hear what people really do.
I didn't get a single responce on this. That was disapointing. I've gone through the process and successfully installed both the subframe and snowblower.
Here's my updated procedure:
I hope this helps someone else.

Here's my updated procedure:
- Attach SubFrame
- Put block under front of sub-frame.
- Move tractor over sub-frame and line up pin ports.
- Shut off tractor.
- Release hydraulic pressure in hoses by moving control to all positions.
- Connect hydraulic hoses to A and B.
- Controls up and down movement of Sub Frame.
- They should be color coded. A (White), B (Yellow), C (Blue), D (Red)
- Pull out draw bar.
- Raise the front of the sub-frame so it raises the back and lines up with the bar port.
- Insert draw bar and secure with pin.
- Lower the front of the sub-frame to line up the front pin.
- This may lift the front wheels off the ground.
- You may need to move the tractor ahead or back to line up.
- Insert front pins and lock (right and left)
- Insert Mid pins and lock (right and left)
- Connect subframe drive line to rear PTO
- Insert the longest yoke of drive line to the rear of the output shaft (toward front).
- Align the drive line coupling with the PTO spline and slide on.
- Pull the coupling collar back and continue to slide the drive line over the PTO
- You must hear and feel an obvious “click” indicating the drive line is locked.
- Attach Subframe to Snowblower
- Place Snowblower’s drive line on its support (keeps drive from hitting sub frame)
- Drive tractor forward to insert male sub frame into snowblower receiver (see note).
- It may help to have boards under snowblower to help line up receiver.
- Lower Snowblower and turn off tractor.
- Push hitch lever forward to lock and secure with pin.
- Connect Snowblower PTO drive line.
- Insert the longest yoke of drive line to the Snowblower (toward front).
- Align the drive line coupling with the PTO spline and slide on.
- Pull the coupling collar back and continue to slide the drive line over the PTO
- You must hear and feel an obvious “click” indicating the drive line is locked.
- Note: You may have to lower snowblower to raise front tires off the ground to get enough clearance to connect the coupling to the subframe PTO or you might have to “partially attach” the Subframe to the snowblower, connect the drive, then finish attaching the units.
- Release hydraulic pressure in hoses by moving control to all positions.
- Connect hoses from snow blower.
- C (moves discharge chute left)
- D (moves discharge chute right)
- Hydraulic Return (small coupling)
- Connect wire to angle of discharge chute. (If you have installed an electric chute control)
- Start tractor and test operation of Snow blower, chute controls and sub frame.
I hope this helps someone else.
