I’m digging around looking for some cheapish & lightweight SSQA forks for my L2501. I had a set of heavy duty CAT forks that simply ate up too much of the limited lift capacity, and am looking for a lighter option.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

I have the Kubota PFL1242 Pallet Forks. They've been very good and have a tall rear guard. The specs say they weigh 220 lbs.

I haven't checked to see the price compared to others, but I don't think I'd want pallet forks to fail for the things I've lifted.

I have these.
That's NZ pricing, so that price of NZ$695 is about $400USD.

I assume they're made in China, and therefore assume you can buy similar product from your local Chinesium dealer.

With mine, I had a local shop weld on brackets that let me put them on my FEL, but I matched the standard Kubota pin spacing and used the old school Kubota quick attach. It means I can use them both on the 3ph and the FEl. Not sure it would work as well with SSQA, but in theory you could source and weld on an SSQA plate, and weld it somewhere that it doesn't foul the 3ph pins.

Try Ali Express or look at Vevor.

Both probably have some version what you need.

Both probably have the same amount of “Chinesum” content as well…(100%)

I have ordered 3 DRO’s from them (Ali Express)……I got 2 of them, and disputed the charge for the “missing” one. Edit: Pretty sure everything ships from “main land” China, but for the smaller stuff I ordered they got here “pretty quick”….5-8 days'ish

Vevor stuff is not too bad “most” of the time…..I have had a few things that I had to return, but overall good nuff……Much like "Horror Fright"

Got tired of handling the steel forks loaned by a buddy. Plus, I got tired of going over to his house to borrow them. Bought a set of aluminum forks from Northern Tool. Don't recall what I paid, but they are significantly less expensive than the steel. Most I've lifted with the aluminum ones is about a thousand pounds, no issue.

I didn’t even know aluminum forks existed. That seems like something that would be both more expensive and get the shit beat out of it (Especially the SSQA plate).

How have they been for you so far, and is there any way you could provide a link?
