I have a 2023 lx3310. My 3 point hitch does not begin to lift an implement until the I move the control lever to mid range (#5 or 50% of range). It used to beging raising at number 1, or 10% of range. The shop manual doesn't offer much in reference to trouble shooting and the dealer said this is normal. There is no neutral rod or linkage to adjust. Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a corrective action?

When you place the lever in the full lift position does it go all the way up? From the look of my service manual the lever attaches to a shaft. Something might have loosened up and slipped.

Don't take this as gospel but seems this issue has come up many times over the years on OTT.

Normal as I recall.

Position Control limits the lowering point but does not regard that point (1, 5, etc.) when raising the 3PH.

Certainly wise to make sure linkage is still good like @Donystoy said.

My LX2610 has a similar issue. (Same tractor but you have the bigger engine or bigger carburation).

My 3 point didn't start lifting until about indicated 4 and then makes a whining sound at level 8. So I Lift it to level 8 and then move it towards level 7 to until the whining sound stops.
I mentioned it to my Kubota dealer when I took it in for the 50 hr maint about 2 years ago. They said it was normal.

I personally think that the linkage travel set up on the manual lever has too great a range as compared to the actuator on the 3 pnt.

mine does the same thing...it lifts the arms at "1" but if I'm attached to an implement (which I always am) the implement wont lift off the ground until position 4 or 5 depending on the implement. That's because of the height of the lift points on the implement (they are higher than the lower link arms in position 1-4).

This is most noticeable when I have the rake installed, it's lift pins are pretty high off the ground.

If its a problem for you, you can always move the position of your lift arms in closer to the tractor (it will lift the implement higher). There should be another pair of holes in the lower lift arms that are slightly closer to the back of the tractor. Details should be in your owners manual.

here it is....

There is an adjustment for that called the feed back rod. See this thread for instructions on a couple of different age tractors.

Kubota calls that "float". It really does not matter where float ends as long as you can get full lift arm height at the top of lever travel. Read the manual description of how to adjust the feedback linkage. That sets the top of travel position and indirectly sets float. If you are getting full lift everything is good to go.

WOW - great response time. Thank you all for your time and feedback.

At position 10 the 3-point hitch rises to what I would assume is 100%, and there is no strain or unusual sound from the pump which confirms the hydraulic fluid is returning to the sump. A few months ago, I installed a hydraulic top link and, with your feedback aligning with the dealer, I am confident that the 3-point hitch concern that I have has not precipitated from my work. I can live with operating the full range between 5-10. In reference to the am adjustment, I have the WSM and it identifies a neutral rod or linkage adjustment, but I don't see one. The control arm rotates a rod and any feedback or sensor appears to be internal.

BTW, I am new to this forum and hope I replied correctly and that all of you receive my response.

THANK YOU!

@Bonj

The illustrated parts list shows the feedback rod (#30) on the rear right hand side. It should be attached to a tab that will move when the upper short arm moves. I don’t know if that is what you are saying but here is what it looks like.
