I have a kubota b1550 that I rebuilt a while back and you guys gave great advice. The tractor runs great but at some point the injector or injectors fail and allow compression in to the fuel system which put air in the system. with the injector line off you can feel the compression coming out of the injector where fuel should be going in... Any idea what causes this and what I can do to stop it? This is my 3rd set of injectors. I have dual fuel filters installed

Buy OEM or Oregon Fuel Injection injectors if you have been getting your injectors from the internet. If you have been having the failure with good quality injectors then I have no idea.

I would get a new set of OEM injectors or at least replace the failed injector(s) with OEM injectors. They are not TOO expensive at about $110 each from dealer.

Oregon may be cheaper?

Just be careful because there may be a part number change depending on tractor serial number.

I would recommend you replace the copper sealing washer underneath the injector also!

Good luck!

Ok I bought 3 new injectors from Kubota, put them in and it would not start, just turn over with no smoke , nothing. I put one old injector back in and it fired right up and sounds good. Take the old one back out and nothing.. What are your thoughts?

Did you bleed the air out of the lines to the injector.
New injectors can be air locked.
Brand new injectors: I open them up and fill them with diesel.

Yes they are bled it runs fine with 2 new ones and one old one
This is contrary to what you said earlier.
There is no way it's running fine if it's only firing on one old injector.
Or it should start even if it has one injector not working.

So which is it, one new injector that won't fire or three?
If it's one injector, swap a know new firing injector into that cylinder and see if it fires there if it doesn't then you have a fuel pump issue.
