Well as the post says looking for others who have a b3030 or b3000 with cab or those that have worked on them. 2 issues trying to figure out and both are stumping me.
1. Rattle at idle right where the propeller shaft connects to the clutch shaft. Goes away with just a little throttle. Coupler on propeller shaft does have some play but not a lot and nothing compared to other B's i have. Clutch shaft doesn't appear to have any up and down or side to side movement. I can use a 2x2 and put some pressure on the propeller shaft when running and rattle lessens. @North Idaho Wolfman said could be the clutch flex plate and/or pilot bushing. Maybe thats what it is.
2. It will drive around all day long on flat ground high med low 2wd 4wd and drives normal with normal hst noise. But going up any incline or backing down an incline it makes a noise sounds just like deck wheels hitting the ground. When i bought it i didn't think anything about ir because thats exactly what it sounded like. But after removing the deck same noise. Noise appears to be coming from under floorpan and i want to say originates under seat area but hard to say for sure. No power loss no slipping nothing abnormal to how it drives. Doesn't do it going downhill or backing up a hill. New fluid and filters all oem. Ive read all the cab noise threads and posts and i can't rule that out. Just trying to figure out what it is. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
