M105x fuel filter not sending fuel to injector pump

Have a M105x. Runs a while and loses power and dies. I trouble shouted enough to figure out every thing works when I by pass the fuel filter assembly and tie direct to fuel injecter pump from transfer pump. I took fuel filter assembly off and blew it out but it’s strange it will not let fuel go from the inlet to the out let or compressor air. But if you blow out from outlet to inlet it works. It’s like there is a valve or something that’s only letting it go one way. Anybody had that issue. Seems odd that it won’t let fuel through the assembly. I ordered and new one so I hope that helps

My first guess - when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter? Put a new one in and see if that fixes the problem. On my little BX there is an arrow on the filters for direction of flow, never tried to blow in the out hole.
