Hello, I have a bx2200 that we have owned since new. Been a great machine and we are going to keep her forever. We till with it and ended up breaking the housing around the pto shaft and I'm sure chunks of the housing ended up inside. We changed the housing and all filters and fluids for the hydraulics I think. Ever since then the pedal is super jerky starting and stopping like the hydrostatic pressure is maxed out. Could a chunk of the pto housing be stuck somewhere causing this?

If you managed to break the pto cover but not the case your insanely lucky. Haven't seen one yet that didn't have damage to the transmission case as well. Ill also say this you have to tear down and get the chunks out for many reasons. The pieces will clog up filters and suction screen, will destroy the hydrostat and that final gear is very close to the housing so if a chunk gets under that its going to break the bottom of the transmission housing. Id have anything you need here from parts to complete good transmissions

yeah I was surprised too that just the pto cover broke and was replaceable. I'm sure we must have some pieces clogging whatever controls the pressure for the hydrostat. It must be separate from the deck lift because those act normal. Is there a pressure regulator for just the hydrostatic system?
