What's on the end of that push-pull cable?Has anyone come across a switch like this 2011 M7040HD. Found this dangling under the instrument panel. Thanks
I agree. Aftermarket switch for a back-up alarm.looks to me to be an after market alarm switch.
Are you original tractor owner?
If not could it have come from a rental or corporate fleet?
they often employ alarms.

i've seen that switch also used wired to dash lights and emergancy/parking brakes.
Not my tractor, I'm helping my neighbor. This tractor intermittently pops a little 5amp fuse. I was just curious when I found this switch it seemed out of place, a bit. Thank youWhat's on the end of that push-pull cable?
I assume you haven't owned this tractor since new?
I did but nothing happened. If you haven't already....... activate the switch with the main key to "ON" or tractor running and see what lights up, rings, dings, or cuts out.
Odd that the switch housing appears to be Kubota grey though.I think you fellows are correct though someone needed a backup alarm or whatever.
Parking brake idiot light and alarm? Sign this idiot up!i've seen that switch also used wired to dash lights and emergancy/parking brakes.
helps when newbies operate fork lifts in the feed mill when the forget to take the parking brake off the dash idiot light is on telling them to take the brake off.
