Hi

I am adding rear remote hydraulics to my b3030. In the process of working on the top link i can see how the quick hitch frame is in contact with the adjustment latch of the lower arms of the 3 point. Here are a couple pictures.
I was wondering if there are recommended adjustments here to have smooth operations? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for taking a look.

Yea quick hitches do not like the extended arms, I would cut the quick hitch back where its hitting the arms.

Look at the following link to determine the best overall hydraulic link working range.

Not that it matters now, the OP already has one now.

Regarding the quick hitch, how often does a person actually have the 3pt all the way down?

Point being, does the occasional interference really make a difference?

If you feel that it does, then get out the grinder and remove what needs to be removed.

Thanks for the tips.

For what its worth, I started here in the forums to verify the length. When I operate it, I will fgure out if it is too long for sure. If it is then maybe a replacement. That said, here is a snipit from that post:

Current Range of Manual Links:

Top: 17 1/4 - 26 3/4
Side: 14 1/4 - 17 5/8

Hydraulic Options:

Category 1 Hydraulic Top Link 17 5/16" - 25 3/16
Category 1 Hydraulic Top Link 18 1/8" - 26 3/8
Hydraulic Side Link: 14 9/16" - 18 5/16

I went with the 18 1/8 to 26 3/8. Maybe its the picture... I know that hindsight is always 2020.

Looks like a job for your angle grinder.

The 18 1/8-26 3/8" will work fine for you.
I typically recommend an 18"-26" working length.

It may be the picture. The cylinder looks as if the rod is retracted all the way and the quick hitch looks near vertical.
