MODEL B2400 HSD SERIAL # 70148 ENGINE # 6159251 6C050-11000 B2400-HD-USA#1 Typing in all caps is yelling... are you yelling at us?
#2 Are you making an observation or do you need help with it?
There are plenty on here that can help you with it, but if I remember correctly we will need the tractors serial number as the Model year doesn't mean anything, as tractors years are based on when they sell them not when they are made, and on that model there was multiple revisions to the steering.
Went through this 2 yrs ago. There is a rotational seal on the top of the shaft that goes bad. No longer available. If you wish to reach out to me I can tell you what may work.there's a rubber hose up behind the steering box. Pain in the neck to get to. They often break/crack/leak. Start removing parts til you can see where the leak is, then fire up the tractor to verify that's what is leaking. At that point, fix or replace the leaky parts. Once replaced, verify that the problem is solved before completely reassembling.
Thanks for responding......oil is spraying from around the steering shaft....How did you fix this?Went through this 2 yrs ago. There is a rotational seal on the top of the shaft that goes bad. No longer available. If you wish to reach out to me I can tell you what may work.

This steering box has two metal lines attached to the top section of the gearbox... lines come from hyd. pump one pressure the other is a return. no rubber hose .. fluid sprays from around the steering shaft with a lot. of pressure.there's a rubber hose up behind the steering box. look in front of the box. I don't recall for sure if all of them had it or not. How did you fix this? I am having the same issue. Leaking at the steering shaft seal. Replaced seal and it still leaks. I see that most of the inner seals are obsolete. How can I fix this without buying a whole new steering assembly for $3k ??? Tractor has less than 1000 hours on it. Thanks for any helpWent through this 2 yrs ago.
