Has anyone installed an exterior after market hydraulic filter on a B7200? How did it work?
I would also like the how, where, and parts necessary.
Thanks in advanced

First question - why do you wish to do this? IT getting smacked around while up under?

I just feel that a replaceable filter would help to clean the oil better than the screen and would make the need of cleaning the screen less often

Heres my opinion. The OEM tank screen is not much of a hydraulic filter. I have owned and serviced my B7200 for 30+ years and I am sure adding a 10u paper filter would greatly improve oil cleanliness.

Brain storm idea! engine oil has a filter why not the hydraulic oil!

yes I have a loader
You can easily put a filter on the loader tank return circuit. It will only filter oil when the loader is being used but if you use the loader on a regular basis it should help considerably. They are cheap.
