Hey there, I'm new to this forum. I just bought an old B7100, pretty good condition. It's my first tractor.
Only after buying it I realized that it did not look like any other B7100. It has a big attachment on top of the gearbox, adding a lever to the right side. There are some stickers on it with a snail, I guess this thing will give you a even lower ratio for super slow speeds.
However no matter what position the lever is, there is no difference in speed. I also haven't found a single picture of this attachment somewhere online or an explanation what this thing is actually called. Definitely looks like an original Kubota part.

Maybe someone can clarify??

Thank you :)

Yep that's a crawler case it was used for the trencher option.
The hydraulic feed line has been taken off of it and I'm pretty sure it needs that to work.

The parking brake is here, the lever I was pointing to is on the other side of the tractor.

The hydraulic line would go here:
I don't know what's going on with that part under the shifter?

The upper lever in the first picture is to kill the engine by cutting off fuel. The lower lever is to engage the brake permanently.

The lever in the lower picture that I called parking break locks the gearbox mechanically so that the tractor can not move
