glad I was sitting down when I looked went to online parts !!!
The 'cheap' one is $600 CDN, the other is $900 CDN !!!!
Not to brag but I've bought complete,running used rider in VGC for LESS than either Kubota Carb.
Looks like all the innards are available,didn't check prices.Just did, yeesh...
'flooding' could just be 'crud' in carb or 'varnish' buildup.
If you have reasonable 'mechanical skills', clean workbench, picture of carb from parts, they aren't difficult to teardown,clean,reassemble.
If you can't..option 'b' is K service to clean ($$), option 'c' new carb ( $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ).
if you do it yourself, take lots of good pictures BEFORE it comes off engine, so you know WHERE linkages go !
