DO NOT ADJUST or Turn any of those bolts, they should already be set.
Yes they float till they are disengaged by the throwout bearing.
If you give me pictures of what you have in front of you I'll confirm before you button it up.thanks,when i removed from the old clutch came off real easy.Come loose in the new kit.so i slid in,but no grab to anything,just float.Threw me off,there threads at one end?Im a rookie LOL,

Yes 6 attachments around the exterior, use the old bolts and studs.ok,think i got it.on the old clutch,had 2 4" guide studs on the flywheel and 4 4" bolts at the other end p plate that will go on the other 4 holes on the flywheel.I think this is to keep unit,clutch plates lined up with the shaft.What threw me off new kit came with 6 studs that are short,don
t make it to the flywheel.should i use old bolts? buy new?Don't wanna screw it up lotta work I am 70 in new hampshire any body close looking for a few bucks.Always need more education LOL thanks St Peter
