I'm looking for snow chains for the wheels of an L3800. Does anybody have a good source?

Turns out that water had gotten into the hydraulics. Not sure how it happened. I was working up to the axles in mud during the floor, but the event is much higher than that. I sent it in for service and they flushed out the Hydraulics and refilled.

What do you think about anti-gel in the hydraulic?

Power steering is sticking too or going dead. Clutch is moving good. That does not seem to be an issue. Lots of whining when I managed to move Or no noise at all when I press the pedal and it does not move. What do you think about anti-gel in the hydraulic ?

Changing the tire and rim fixed the problem.

I had come to the same conclusion but wanted to see what other people think. I'm thinking the first used the Middle Buster to loosen the dirt, then use the landscape rake to flatten the rows made by the plow, then use the cultivator itself to plow shallow Rows. I could then run the cultivator...

I have been using my L 3800 to plow a garden for the last two summers. I use a single bottom Middle Buster to plow rows which works well and brings up any rocks or roots. I will then use the landscape rake to pull out any rock and roots. I will use the Middle Buster to plow the clean row again...

My L 3800 gives me the ability to lock the clutch down. Under what circumstances would I want to do something like that? I have been using this tractor for 3 years and can not think of any. I was just wondering why the manufacturer put a clutch lock there.

Just make sure the grass is dry. In the Summer with the sun beating down it should be dry in a few hours after rain. In the spring or fall it could take a few days. I will mow with an L 3800 with R4 tires. I normally now in 2 wheel drive. If the grass is wet I'll switch into 4 wheel drive...

I need a front tire for my L3800. I had to run it flat to get out of a mess I was in. The dealer only sells it with a rim, which I already ordered. Now I have a spare rim that I want to get a tire for so I have a full spare. Size 27 x 8.5-15 NHS. I believe it is an R4. Thanks.

I think I did what you mean. I pushed down on the nipple of each male plug of the controller. I did notice that the fluid was coming out kind of foamy. Doing so did not make the connection any easier.
