The pins which hold the brakeshoes were quite bent. I wounder if it is possible, that the brakeshoes got caught due to selfreinforcing effect - bent the pins - got reinforced even more and sheared off the shaft? Maybe i will stiffen up the brakeshoeholder with sheet metal.

I have the same issue with my b6200: right side break shaft broken, left side shaft has cracks and is almost broken. Is thereany ideas how to avoid thisdamage after repair? Probably grinding the break shoes a littlethat they are less aggessive? I would be very happy about someinput!
