    Antifreeze for L3301.

Your manual must be unique. Mine is more specific.

    Antifreeze for L3301.

Zerex Asian "red" or "Green" meet Kubota requirements. It may or may not be cheaper than the K coolant, but it is often available closer to you. Last time I bought it at $21/ gallon.

    Springs coming

Phil saw his shadow here. Just got an Alberta Clipper run through and dump another dusting down. Temps below freezing all next week. This weekend wind chills will be sub zero. imma let my dog loose on that muskrat!

Diesel Additives - Time to Change Brands?

Potassium in itself is not a problem. Only that it can hide a coolant contamination in an oil analysis. If you know the level is elevated due to the Opti-Lube, then you know what your “normal” level is. You may already know all that, but others might not 😁

Engine Heaters to assist cold weather starting. Which type?

Don’t forget the oil that cools the pistons. Piston skirt temps can get really high on a loaded engine.

    Happy Block Heater Day!

Don’t have one on the K, but I do in the truck. The trucks came with it as part of the “cold weather package”. I just wanted the electric heat in the cab. Only used them a time or three. never considered it in the tractor. Sure, it’s been cold. Mostly below 20 for a high. I just switched the...

Diesel Additives - Time to Change Brands?

Opti- Lube for all my diesels. I don’t bother with their “Ag” formula. Just the red flavor.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

lol. I tried the bucket of snow also. Not a fan. Do not recommend. I had my snowboard goggles on but it still sucked. Or blows 😜

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Going 7. Found one about an hour west of me at a decent price. Any dirt would be for a final finish. No ditches here. I know what you mean about front weight. While using my redneck rear blade (rake with sheet metal in it) I found steering to suffer. Solved that by ditching the bucket and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Good information in photo form. That cements my lean to the 7 footer. There are some areas I could not plow with 2 wheels off to the side. I definitely need slightly wider than the tire track when it’s angled. I like your weights 😉. I was thinking of how to add my suitcase weights to the rear...

    That Tuffy is pretty neat!

    A truck and trailer thread.

Can't say I ever recall seeing wear patterns like that.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Torn between a 6 or 7 footer. The buy once side says 7. The other side says 7 will be too wide for dirt work and a L2501.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I was going to pick up a rear blade this week. Now you have me second guessing. I don’t really want to buy a dedicated plow. Not in this climate. A rear blade has to be better than what I have though.

Electronic torque wrenches ... are they worth the cost?

My Craftsman wrenches like the one in your 2nd photo has been VERY accurate over the years. I check them occasionally using Olympic plates.
