What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I'm on the flip side of the post above. The only time I have removed the Piranha bar is for snow removal. Otherwise it has been on.

    Dooh! day

Sounds like my Monday -Friday work day. Minus the herding cats. I'm sure you have/ will, but make sure the mud didn't get in the air filter. If you are lucky the tree will fall over by the time you get a new bar.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It wasn't the tires. It was the box in the back that was dragging. As long as nothing is dragging (underbelly or attachment) they've done me fine. Wet leaves, Virginia clay or both.

Might have been me. I've said that a few times around here. I keep em at the pressure the manual says. Fronts go to max sidewall pressure. I use the loader a lot.

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

The elevation was definitely noticeable. We didn't give it much thought. Then I did an 11 mile solo hike with some moderate rock scramble mixed in. I was asleep by 7pm that night 😄

If you are moving, there will be drag. That is the tensile force that will break the Chinese snot weld. I too am a mechanical engineer. And a formerly certified structural welder. There should be a gusset there. It is a weak point. However, I may be wrong. This may be the first failure point for...

It is indeed the south. North was closed because it snowed 6" that day. We also hiked the Valley of Fire.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sadly, no. It was threatening rain so I was in a hurry. I took some skinny pine logs and dropped them in the ruts. Then I lifted the front wheels with the bucket and hammered the logs in as far as I could. Same for the rear, although I couldn't lift the rear. With a little nudge of the bucket...

2nd time to the Grand Canyon. This time it wasn't filled with fog.

Changed the oil and filter. Greased everything. The ol girl then decided to dig her own grave.

Not guessing. It's simple geometry, engineering and welding experience. Even resting on the ground, there is tensile force on that weld joint. It doesn't matter if the wheels swivel. Besides, I didn't say they'll implode tomorrow. I said that is where the first point of failure will be.

Buy once, cry once. Those Ignite ones look like they will snap at the down tube pretty quickly. Check out Homestead Implements. They weren't much more when I bought them. Better built.

BX2380. Block heater v. magnetic heater?

A heater installed in the block does a better job at what they are supposed to do- heat the cylinders to aid in starting.
