Skipley Farm

1980 I graduated from the National Farm School in Doylestown Pa.
- the old name for Delaware Valley College, and now DV University, with BS in Horticulture-specifically Commercial Fruit and Vegetable growing. My experience is in collecting, growing and propagating plants- that exceeds 7000 varieties today.
Started farming at 50 (2008) on 7 acres. My two boys are not helping yet and I believe one day they will by god.
Traveled west on my bicycle with fellas from college working on farms to pay the way. After 3 months and 6,500 miles landed in Western Washington and began farming.
Have 600 varieties of Apples, 40 kinds of grapes, 60 kinds of pears 20 plum, 15 blueberry varieties, elerberry, Currant and Gooseberry, Kiwi, Fig and Persimmon, Mulberry and Cherries. Basically a collector and open for PYO July through October Skipley Farm is organic and the nursery is always packed with what is successful. I sell on ETSY and a shambles of a website that needs help with a sales platform like shopify. My EXCEL file takes a minute to load-for keeping track of inventory. Skipleyfarm.com is my site if you'd like to help improve it. I have been non-profit for 12 years. Montlake College and Overseer of Faith and Works.
