    You can check the voltage in your outlet. Sometimes in hot weather with peak demands voltage drops causing higher amp draw on appliances.

    That works also but the important part is never use commercially processed rolled oats. Roll or crack your own groats to avoid all the nasty chemicals used in processing and to make them last more then a couple days in the box without freezing.
