Here is a video of tire options ... The part number for the R14 front tire is a Radial tire, it will ride much better, and will do better in snow than the R4.

@S-G-R that's an interesting top link connection, I noticed mine popped up out of the top QH hook and folded back twice when mowing the other day ... I figured it really only needs to be in the hook if I want to raise the whole mower ... But thought I might put some kind of restraint to hold it...

The B is slightly longer (but about same width with taller tires) and heavier, for a little bit more lift capacity ... Going to a L2501/2 which is only slightly longer than a B, but quite a bit wider and heavier, is where you will find nearly double the lift capacity ...
