How to fix broken shredder wheel?

I would clean it up, tack it in place, make sure everything's aligned, then weld it from both sides. You're not really out much if it does not work. If I was bored, or that wheel was outrageously priced, that looks like a nifty project for the CNC plasma machine and lathe.......but I...

Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

Thanks for that info. Please report back when you have had time to "evaluate" your decision. Also, what are you putting them on?

Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

Can you expand on why you think this? Like I eluded too earlier, this is not a 'priority", I am just fishing around for ideas and thoughts. (y)

Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

Out of mostly curiosity, I will call around and see how much it is. In the mean time, I will just keep the compressor handy, until it gets warmer out, then install the tube.

Should I buy a landscape rake?

After a quick search, it appears that just the rake, new, is about $1,800, so it sounds like a pretty decent deal. Hell, if you don't really like it, you could probably sell it and break even.

    g1800 fan belt replacement

I pulled the radiator on my 2501 when I was replacing a line one time. The replacement cost of a new radiator when you "slip" and punch a hole through it, just wasn't worth it to me. Over the years, I have "jacked up" enough radiators by hitting them with a tool, or something, to know that...

Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

I have put a tube in the other tire and it has held, but I was considering foaming them all just to prevent future flats. After some poking around, it seems like there are no good DIY ways to do it. I actually have a tube sitting on the shelf, but I was kicking around the idea to foam it...

Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

I am considering doing this to a problematic tire on my Yamaha Rhino. But I was wondering if I do it, can that tire ever be replaced if it wears out? I have also read about getting a "flat spot" if it sits too long. Is this true?

    HST Filter Removal

All good advice above. Personally I would attack it as follows. 1. Cut paint with razor knife. 2. Attempt to use one of my many strap/cup style wrench's in no particular order. 3. Big ass Channel locks (at base not the end, they will crush the end) 4. Then, as a last resort, and because there...

    B8200 HST Incline stalling

How steep of an incline? And are you pulling anything? The reason I ask, is that recently I was making a "sledding hill" for my grandkids and I wanted to get it a little higher; So I began climbing the 'hill" (small bump really) with a full bucket of snow and I stalled it. Too steep of an...

    Strange Noise

Kind of sounds like a "pump cavitating" noise to me.

Should moderators be elected by membership?

Although not necessarily tractor related, you forgot one. What round is the absolute, all around, best, for "self defense"? (JK....everyone knows it is the 45 ACP...............Now lets have a good ,clean fight......;))

L3301 HST cranks, starts briefly then stalls

Since the ignition switch is responsible for turning the tractor "on AND off", simply "dismissing" the switch as a possibility, sounds like a mistake to me. That kind of "troubleshooting" is the first step in loading up a "parts cannon". (I know this because I have been guilty of firing the...

    Lets talk "3D printers"

Very nice! I don't actually have it yet, but I have decided to start off with a Creality K1 SE. It seems like a decent "beginner printer". Those things I posted were printed by my SIL on his Bambu P1.

And since I retired my "Dungeons and Dragons" stuff just about the same time I discovered girls; that puts me squarely in the "custom tool holder" category I guess. 🍻 🍻
