Brake, turn and running lights not working on one side of ROPS

On my L2501, there is a connector for the turn signal directly under it, in the fender area. If you have a similar setup, just poke your head under and look to see if it got disconnected. If not, do as @TheOldHokie suggested. Good luck (y) (y) (y)

A lifetime of waiting has come to an end……….FINALLY!!!!!

Ok fellas, so here we are about ~30 years after I saw, and tried to use, my first Bridgeport, and said to my 26 year old self…...“Holy shit this thing is cool…...I gotta get one of these!!!" I suppose the “Statue of Limitations” has expired 🤞 on any crime that was commited, so here it goes…...

    Mower won't start or move

Something similar happed to my dad…I sure miss him. Like most of us, I suspect your dad learned to do all those things by “actually trying to fix things” and I suspect it will be the same for you. (thats how we all learn/learned I guess) So heres your first lesson I suppose…………... Get a...

    Trailer tire rant/advice

Funny you should bring this up. I just noticed 2 of my utility trailer tires wearing funny….(Not funny, like a clown funny either:)) Going to have to find some soon. I have had the trailer for 5’ish years, and no problems so far. I have been paying attention to the size and load rating...

Just got a call from the bank

Someone steals my numbers once every 2 years or so…. They flag it, I get a text asking if it was me, and I just reply “No”. Then they cancel the card, and send me a list of suspicious transactions that I have to validate/invalidate The crappy part is that I have to then go and change the...

    L3301 / LA525 Float Problem

I will add that I recently took the cover off my loader joystick, and 2 of the four threaded inserts stripped out. It is stored inside and it was pretty warm out, so be gentle with them when breaking them free.

    L3301 / LA525 Float Problem

Have you taken the cover off and looked for a “physical blockage”…..like a twig, or stick that is jamming something up. Seems unlikely, but 🤷‍♂️

BX2380 Suspension Seat - zero height change

I would take a serious look at old brake rotors for trucks. If you were to cut them properly, you should be able to use them in a nearly identical manner. (i.e. if you cut off the part where the lug nuts bolt on, you would be left with a heavy circular weight that could be neatly stacked...

The drying time of Loctite 577 is KILLING ME!!!!!!!!

Well fellas, I finally “finished” a project!!!!! The Governor is still calling my shop(s) “federal disaster areas” but at least I have air at all my machines now. I must say, the Locktite 577 did a great job. As far as I can tell, I am "100% Leak free”….(so far) I did have to use the...

    Gravel Drive Maintenance

Damnit fella’s, It just popped into my head as I was reading this…... I was just at the ALRO metal outlet near me….(My new favorite shopping spot ;) ) and as I was walking past the “clearance bin” I saw some steel for .50 cents a pound that would have worked great for my “future” Land Plane...

Ultra low volume 120v oil pump advice wanted

When I was a transmission and axle mechanic, I built something “similar" for refilling differentials………Worked fantastic. All I did was bolt an old oil pump (from a jeep 4.0l I think) to the top of a 5 gallon bucket, then ran it with my old sh!tty Makita 9.6V cordless drill. I connected a...

    Waste oil burners/heater/stove

There was/is a Youtuber that is "relatively famous” for making homemade waste oil burners of different designs. I am currently saving my used oil in an IBC tote to make one………..one day……after my other 239,754 projects are done. ;););) This guy is the guy I was talking about, he makes it look...

BX2380 Suspension Seat - zero height change

Looks very nice! I agree with @Russell King I might add some sort of “bottoming out” protection, but it looks like it should be an upgrade for sure (y) (y) (y) EDIT: Oh and WELCOME sir! There are lots of very talented people here, so you should fit right in!

Front mount flail mower from mid PTO

I can relate to the “off and on” welding outcomes. I call mine “hammered dog sh!t” , but the sentiment is the same ;) :ROFLMAO: I guess thats why they make grinders though(?);) Overall though, nice job on the welding so far(y)(y)(y)(y) What type of welding is it? I am guessing “MIG"?
