    oil comes out of the relief valve hole with it removed. My steering works great which is supplied by 1 of the delivery sides of the pump which makes me think it’s not the pump

    it seems like it closes the passage, it’s hard to tell just by looking at it. Would it either be this valve or the pump? If I crank it oil shoots out of the hole so that’s good

    The piece inside does no spring back I can compress it some and it doesn’t take much effort

    What does the threaded portion on the valve do? Can you increase and decrease pressure with that and then tighten down the nut?
