Good eye, that bee's a Ping Special! Surplus Center diverter valve resides under that cover, McMaster Carr switch buried in a turned joystick knob. It doesn't offer the control of a real 3rd function but, didn't cost me a kidney to put together. Let me know if you need any additional info.

Yep, that way works very well for smaller brush. Grabbing multiple size soccer ball size limbs can sometimes be challenging depending on how crooked they are.

I have an EA 48" Wicked Grapple. Great all around for tractor size . My only complaint is trying to pick up multiple limbs (cantelope-basketball size) in one bite. A long bottom grapple would probably work better in that situation.

Those weights are homegrown. 3/16" steel plate welded together, rebar handles and 1/2x1 hooks fabbed up. I agree with you on tractor weight prices which is why I welded up my own.

Or, you could pull the 2 nuts from the 2 post lift closest to the vise base and add a plate on top of the post lift base bridging across to the vise base. Just another thought to keep from drilling more holes in the concrete.
