    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I'm here at local Kubota dealer, they don't have a bolt & washer in stock but they have deck belt in stock. They have to order it, I will get it in a few days. They also tell me that the tech guys replace all the belts without removing the decking, deck belt, PTO belt & trans belt.

I just realized I posted the same photo earlier. Here’s another picture: the belt came off the lower pulley (in the back), I was able to put it back. The belt tightens when I lower the lever to engage the blade—photo #2 shows the arrow pointing to where the blade engages to tighten the belt. (F...

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I need help again since the guy who was supposed to fix it, along with my other vehicle, never came back. My grass is overgrown, so I mowed the yard with just one blade yesterday. I did a small section in the front, lifted the deck, and disengaged the blade to drive over an area with small...

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I'm sure it's easy to find in the right-hand turn, I don't think I would find the left-hand turn at the hardware store. The repair guy mowed my yard (because I was recovering from surgery), he told me it’s broken. From your picture, I think it’s fallen off. Thanks for your tips about the...

Wow, that’s pretty expensive, so I guess I’ll have to buy directly from the authorized dealer. The “Plate Spring” looks like a washer, doesn’t it? Is it a washer?

A couple of weeks ago, the repair guy broke one of the bolts holding the cutting blade, and he still hasn’t replaced it. What size is it, and where can I buy one besides the authorized dealers?

Ok, I will ask him next time, he still has to come back to fix my vehicles.

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I cleaned under the deck and loosened the left side blade (as shown in the picture) while he went out to purchase some parts (belt). It is loose but will not come out. I informed him of what I did and suggested the solution of swapping the blades. He completed this later and tested the mower. I...

I still have doubts regarding whether both blades rotate in opposite directions, as he tightened them in the counterclockwise direction for both. It is my solution about switching the blades prior to reading the information here & it solved the problem; I appreciate @Caden and @whitetiger for...

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I apologize for the numerous challenges I am currently facing in my life. I have been dealing with multiple issues, including vehicle problems. A mechanic attempted to repair my vehicle, but the job was not done correctly, prompting me to look for a new (used) vehicle. On Saturday, May 30...

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I checked the mower and found that the belt came off only on the top pulley by the front wheels, likely knocked off by the lug nut wrench. I tried to pull it back on, but it was impossible. Following Russell King's advice, I removed the spring on one side and was able to pull the belt over the...

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

Russell King - Thank you for providing the details of the repairs along with the photos. I'm an older woman without much experience or physical strength. Unfortunately, I don’t have friendly neighbors or friends nearby. If I can’t handle the repair myself, I’ll hire someone since I know where...

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

I hired someone to work on this mower 2 yrs ago; he removed the blades, sharpened them, and reinstalled them. After the repair, it would not cut in the center, so I assumed the blades might need to be positioned in a specific way.

"Mohawk" refers to the strip in the center that isn’t being cut. How can I correct this issue?

    Kubota T1880 Won't Drive

Do you think I can buy the #2 drive belt at an auto parts store also? Can I simply route the belt around the pulleys, or do I need to remove one of the pulleys to install it? I’ve attached two pictures, but I don’t see the fourth pulley. Should I route the belt as shown in the yellow...
