OI think there is a plug on the top of head in the back right corner. I think you have depth room for a standard gauge sending unit.

OMost have a plug on top of the cylinder head that you can remove and install one

OI have a 1984 L245 and wanted to see if anyone has installed a temperature gauge on an 80’s model L245. If so, how is it done? Thanks
