    New MX5200

Congrats with the new MX5200! I love mine. I've put over 150 additional hours on it in a little over a year since I got it (was 525 when acquired). It's a perfect match with the 78" pull-type snowblower. It gets yanked around by the logging winch from time to time. I'm sure you'll not regret...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Built a "temporary" wooden dolly for the forestry winch so I could move it around in the container to make place for the new toy tool before assembly. Here's the new toy tool. A Woodland Mills HM130Max portable sawmill. It's a circular economy: 1- buy tractor to haul logs 2- buy sawmill...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got delivery of a 40' high cube tunnel shipping container today. It was delivered roadside as my driveway entrance is too narrow for a semi to back into. Got one of my farmer neighbors to come over with his large JD and pull it about 350 ft over packed snow. Got to help with the MX by using the...

Got to 675 hrs on the MX5200 today. That means I put 150 hrs since I got it about 13 months ago. 😊

Working in the NE woods with plenty of snow pack on M6800 skidding

Had a couple of close calls myself today. Forestry winches are so powerful, they can jerk the tractor pretty bad when a log gets caught.

Well, after a service call (from 40 miles away), a patch, a tube and 810 northern pesos, we're back in business!

Looks like a clean tire puncture

Had a great day logging spruce from the plantation to make way for the shop. Had my son off on spring break to help. And then, this happens... It's punctured through. Air is coming out. No ballast fluid in the tire. Any recommendation for on-site repair? Any special considerations? Will...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I'm actively looking for a used 5 ton excavator myself. There's been one staring at me at the dealer for the last 4 months or so... It only has 123 hrs, so quite expensive.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Was lazy and decided to clean 2" of wet snow with the bucket. I had swapped the snowblower for the forestry winch a few days back and did not swap back. Major mistake. Wasted lots of time and got stuck twice (and had to use the winch to get out). I hope I learned my lesson that getting the...

Took the other orange for a spin today. Was a gorgeous sunny day, just below freezing!
