So an update - I bought that used BX2750D snowblower package last night (it came off a BX2660). And I did confirm that the main PTO driveshaft (at 44.5 inches) is the same one that will fit my BX1870. But the splined shaft inside the BX2751 quick hitch subframe is the longer one in the diagram...
