Bro-Tek Skidplates for BX23S and maintenance...

I'm hoping to take delivery of the tractor sometime next week. Part of my property is a bit rocky, lots of brush, sticks, etc. I ordered a full set (all three) skid plates from Bro-tek. Don't want to take any chances having anything damage the tractor from underneath. Although more expensive...

    Beet juice and chains...

i live in a rural area and there’s the Libota dealer here, New Holland and a Mahindra dealer. to be honest, I’m most likely going to get chains no matter what tire I get. I also have very rocky terrain in some places and the R4’s are 6-ply tires and probably a bit more durable. So I’ll probably...

Wheels for land rake...yes or no?

I was thinking the same thing regarding pine needles, but it would be great for picking up pine cones, sticks and small limbs and other ground debris and even piling up some deep duff on a section of the yard. I also have a Stihl Combi system and the blower is great for pine needles on the...

    Beet juice and chains...

Interesting. I told the dealer I wanted R14’s because everything I’ve read has said they are better in the snow than the R4’s and he insisted the R4’s were superior in snow, hands down. I still think R14’s would be a better. Voice and haven’t taken delivery of the tractor. a friend got their...

    Beet juice and chains...

This is basically two questions in one... 1. Taking delivery next week of a BX23S. I live on uneven ground with a loose topsoil and clay underneath. Some arts of the property I haven't go to yet as far as maintenance goes have a loose layer of soil and quite a bit of duff from decaying pine...

Wheels for land rake...yes or no?

Taking delivery on a BX23S next week. Wasn't something I was originally considering, but after watching a couple videos in addition to a box blade I also picked up a land rake. I have a lot of pine needles that I rake up by hand twice a year along with limbs, branches, pine cones and other...

New to the site, first tractor...

Yeah, that happened with chainsaws. Started with the small MS180, then a pole saw, then a small Dewalt electric chainsaw and then the MS400. Lucky for me I'll probably be broke soon with all the projects, so won't be able to trade up for a while!

New to the site, first tractor...

Bought a place a year and a half ago, and it's been non-stop projects and clean-up. When I first moved in last spring it was probably the first time in a long time anyone had cleaned up all the debris and pine needles. Big, old pine, cedar, juniper and fir were in desperate need of thinning and...

    Ice storm cleanup.

Was a mess after the storm we had in February. Still cleaning up after it. Have cut down 25-30 trees that snapped or came down during the storm or just thinning them out. Tons of limbs and debris. I was burning pine needles and debris but had so much I wasn't going to get it all burned in time...

New BX23S owner tire choice question...

Just purchased a BX23S. I dont have lawn, so tearing it up isn't an issue. Mostly on loose dirt and clay, have an acre with a lot of pine needles, duff, loose soil and sticks/branches, etc that I will be cleaning up and a gravel driveway. Dealer said the R4 tires were the best choice for snow...
