Maximum weight of rototiller B7000 can handle

I’ve just bought a new tiller for my B7000. It’s just over 1 metre wide, but weighs 260Kg! The blades are square, rather than curved, and it cuts up the ground - no problems. It will tackle a grass field, and after about 6 passes, the ground is ready. But, the weight worries me a bit. I have...

    B7100 Front Differential

Can anyone help on this? Vic? I've grease oozing out both ball joints and thinking of getting this overhaul kit, as I suspect both sides are worn out http://en.yenibiz.com/achat/produit_details.php?id=443

    Steering wheel removal

I did the same - but used a hydraulic puller. The bottom of the wheel is pretty tough., but it left small dentations. I used plenty of WD40. The pressure necessary was more than I was comfortable with, but eventually the wheel jumped off. I think the puller is the only way.

b7000 engine common to other models?

Yep - they can supply just about everything you need - but they are pricey for some parts. I've had no problems with delivery. If you take the part-number from the Yenbiz site, it can be used at your local dealer, as parts are common to a lot of machines. You can see which machines are common...

b7000 engine common to other models?

Hi Rowboat, How's the rebuild going? I did the same with my b7000. Rebuilt the steering box and cooling system. Repainted the body and panels. Replaced a lot of the wiring loom. Greased it up etc. Result: the machine is like new- starts on the button and doesn't smoke. Recently dropped a row...

Loss of grease around front wheel ball joints

Hi Vic, I've packed grease into the nipple on top of the king pin, that is part of the front wheel gear case group. There is only the upper pin on the B7000. The grease is ouzing out onto the large ball joint. Should I think about replacing the dust seal and gasket cover? or , have I put too...

Loss of grease around front wheel ball joints

I packed a lot of grease around the kingpins on front wheel joints. After a days work, there is so much grease around the front ball joints, that I wipe it off. Is it normal to lose this much grease, or is something worn, such as the dust sheild?

B7000 remote aux for log splitter

I've just bought a log splitter with male 1/2 inch quick release couplings. My B7000 tractor does not have aux hydraulics fitted. I'm going to cut into the high pressure line, as shown in Dept Vic's video, and add two female quick release couplings. What do you do when the splitter is taken...

    Gray market B7000

Re: B7000 1976 parts Hi Ron, Sorry - mis-read your question. You need to replace the tie rod Part No 66591-56833 or 66711-56540 The part will also fit the B5000, but that's all. Have a look at this: http://en.yenibiz.com/achat/produit_details.php?id=140

    Gray market B7000

Re: B7000 1976 parts Hi Ron, No - B7100 steering shaft and bearings won't fit a B7000. You need to remove the steering wheel - probably need a puller for that. Then drain your steering box (I bet £50 that it's full of rainwater), and take it apart. You will probably find the top roller...

b7000 engine common to other models?

Hi Rowboat, These guys will supply the correct hoses - I bought some myself and they fit perfect. http://en.yenibiz.com/achat/index.php?type_produit=12&catid=19 They specialise in spares for B7000 and should post to canada OK. If not, I'll get them for you an forward them on. :) Regards...

    B7000 grader blade size?

Hi Rowboat, Welcome to the forum. I also have a B7000 and constantly amazed at the power that little 2 cylinder engine can put out. It actually has more power than the 3 cylinder B7100 (18 hp compared to 16hp). 6' sounds a bit big to me! I would be more comfortable with 4'. I have a 4'...

    OrangeTractorTalks is 2 Years Old!

Excellent news Mr K. There have been some really great posts on this already, from the likes of 'TopGear' etc, but I am not absolutely clear on setting up the hoses to a spooler valve and rams, and returning back to the tank. Just need to take this carefully - new pumps look pricey! Yep -...
