ZD28 Mower with New Battery = New Problems

HOW did you check the various connections? With a meter? Or a test light? Did you apply any load? Meters can lie. If there is corrosion in a circuit, it will act as a high resistance. When there is no load on the circuit, the meter will show the correct voltage, but once you apply the...

    Electrical tap into B2650HSDC Fuseblock

I used to make my living installing cellular phones, back in the 80s before they all became hand-helds. I have seen plenty of installations by good installers and fly-by-night clowns, and I made a lot of money cleaning up other peoples messes. I do NOT recommend any kind of fuse tap. They...

    BX25D PTO

The BX25D has two switches under the seat. This post in a thread of mine might be helpful. I have the same question, actually! :D

Welcome! There is a thread where people share wiring diagrams. I don't know if yours is there, but check it out.

BX tires - Turf or R4? and what brand?

Well, according to the chart in this thread, foam filled should run about 120 pounds each. It would require about 15 gallons of water to equal that weight. Antifreeze isn't going to be significantly different than plain water. (~8 pounds per gallon) A bit of online research tells me (from...

BX tires - Turf or R4? and what brand?

Then I'd have to find a lot of ballast, so I'd rather stay with liquid filled. Besides, if the sidewalls are leaking, they are coming apart. Foam might work, but... I really don't trust those tires at this point.

    Need help with replacing speakers

That's what I was wondering, Hugo. Probably not for speakers, though, but it should be checked out. I've often used a small pry bar to put some pressure on something, as you suggested in post #3. If that doesn't work, there's always C4. :D

Resolved!. Really need some help, Kubota dealer stuck, 2024 RTV520h engine issues

I don't know what's wrong with the engine, but I know that dealer is using the mud technique. Throw stuff at it and hope it sticks. They have no clue what they are doing. Bad at lower RPMs and good at higher RPMs? Anybody look at sensors?

    Diesel mushrooms

Here this new guy asked a question and y'all ignored him! For the sake of any future readers, to answer the question, yes, it could very well be the cause. Take a look at your fuel filter and see if it has boogers in it. You'll need to clean out your tank and replace the filter. Even if...

    Diesel mushrooms

No, they should be stirred, instead. ;)

BX tires - Turf or R4? and what brand?

I just spotted the seepage, but they are pretty old. It's probably just age. The tractor was new in 2014. That makes them 12 years old. I don't know about tractor tires, but for automotive use, that's time to replace. The rubber just ages. Yes, I've been happy with the R4s, but I thought...

BX tires - Turf or R4? and what brand?

Well, it looks like that day may have come. I seem to have a seep from my sidewall. Tires are filled, of course, or they'd probably be flat. So, I have several questions: Are these tires changeable by a backyard mechanic with hand tools, or am I going to have to take them to the dealer...

An interesting approach to cleaning out your fuel tank. BX, but may apply to others

I hear ya. I'm in Virginia! :D It was probably going to get me sooner or later.

An interesting approach to cleaning out your fuel tank. BX, but may apply to others

Yes to both. Algae is a common problem with diesel fuel. OR from fueling from dirty containers, or under trees, etc. In my case, I've had to be mostly out of state for several years due to a family member's health problems, so my tractor and fuel has done far too much sitting. That's an...
