Why is my oil level rising? B8200

So, the lift pump came in the mail along with some new oil filters. InTheWoods got me worried about damaging the motor so instead of running it to see if it made oil, I just went ahead and changed the pump and oil filter and looked online to see how much oil to put in it and saw this: I put...

Need Help with B7100 and accessories, Pricing

Kristen, where are you located? Geography can impact pricing. Here in New England where I am, that tractor/loader/mower might be worth $9,500 (at the highest I think), 85Hokie nailed the price right off. If you aren't on Facebook already, you should join. You'll see that there's a good...

Why is my oil level rising? B8200

Do you think it would hurt it if just running it for a short while? Maybe I'll just go ahead and change the pump and oil. The filter probably only has 12 hours on it. Does diesel mess up the filter requiring it to be changed too?

What models should I be looking for?

I have a B8200 that would be fine if it was HST. Not having an independent PTO makes mowing smaller property with many obstacles a challenge. It also doesn't seem strong enough to run a 60" 3pt snow blower. So I think I'd like to get a different tractor. Preferably one that is HST and has a...

    Diesel into crankcase b8200 1988

Don't know why I missed this in searching until now. But I found videos of a guy who did just what you're thinking with a DC pump.

Why is my oil level rising? B8200

I drained the oil to the right level. Coolant and hydraulic are at the right level. As soon as the lawns dry I’m going to mow for an hour and see what’s leaking into the oil, if anything. My bet is diesel since coolant wasn’t down much and hydraulic wast down at all. Lift pump will be here...

Why is my oil level rising? B8200

The drained oil got dumped into the used oil bucket unfortunately and I'd like to avoid the time and hassle of sending a sample out and waiting for results. Hopefully it will be easy to diagnose from here. If the oil continues to rise and the coolant and hydraulic fluids stay the same then...

Why is my oil level rising? B8200

It doesn't smell like diesel, but my sense of smell is awful. The hydraulic fluid is full and clean. After I noticed the issue yesterday, I topped off the coolant and mowed a for about another half hour. I just checked it again and it is a little lower but not bad. It appears these things...

Why is my oil level rising? B8200

My B8200 that I got from my parent and I've had for just over a year now is running OK, no smoke other than a puff of black at start up. About 800 hours. But when I checked the oil, the level was way past max full. And the coolant level was a little low about a quarter cup. So I'm guessing...

    Show me your cup holders

There's two of them on the back. Holds nice and tight. A good cheap option if, like me, you're to lazy to make one.

belt tension gauge for mower deck?

Not a very great longevity test, but I've cut about two acres three times in the last month, with the cheapest belt I could find. It stretched so bad during the first two weeks that I had to put the tensioner on the the second of the three chain links and the eye-bolt is still screwed in almost...

    My loader won’t stay up?

It was holding a board being glued against the side of a cement block building. No weight other than the bucket. Just a one time thing. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get things done.

    My loader won’t stay up?

I didn’t even think of temp. Would there be a noticeable performance difference in loader performance between a 70 degree day and a 95 degree day? This is the first time I’ve worked the loader this hard in such hot temperatures. when was a kid I had a Yamaha rz350 motorcycle. Two stroke. There...

    My loader won’t stay up?

I’ll use it to test the pressure in the system to see if I’m reaching proper PSI. Trying to verify if my perceived lack of power is an issue or not.
