Thanks everyone. I ended up buying the one from Princess Auto. I think it will be just fine for what I need.

This is what I made a little less than a year ago for my new LX2610.

    Lown Performance Grill Guards/Customer Service

I worked for Canada Customs years ago as a summer student. That's when I realized just how bad UPS is. The thing is they try to make it look like they're doing you a favour by paying the "duties and taxes" for you then charging a brokerage fee. It's the brokerage fee which is exorbitant...

    Lown Performance Grill Guards/Customer Service

Hey I'm from Canada too, so I can relate to the headaches of ordering things from the US. Was the expensive shipping UPS by chance? I vow never to buy anything from the US shipped by UPS. BTW here's the grill guard I made for my LX2610. Not powder coated but I'm super happy with how it...

Grab Handle on my LX2610, one of a few things I've done...so far

I used the two existing holes on the inside of the loader mount. These pictures are just during the fabrication part, before it was cut at this end to match the angle of the loader mount, and to the proper length at the other end. In the end I used 3/8" Grade 8 bolts, washers and nyloc nuts.

Brush Guard on my LX2610, one of a few things I've done...so far

I drilled the holes. They're 5/16", and used SS bolts, washers and nyloc nuts. I opted for the "inset" look so you can still see the "KUBOTA" cut into the steel below the top guard.

Chain saw mount on my Lx2610, one of a few things I've done...so far

I have a good sized opening in the bottom of it in case anything needs to drain, but for the most part the tractor is never left outside as well.

Chain saw mount on my Lx2610, one of a few things I've done...so far

Here's a chain saw holder, actually two, that I made for my LX2610. One fits my smaller saws which are a Stihl 017, or a 20V Dewalt, which are great for around the yard. The other one, which uses the same mount and just unbolts with four 1/4" bolts fits my larger saw which is a bullet proof...

Grab Handle on my LX2610, one of a few things I've done...so far

Here's a couple pictures of a grab handle I've made for my LX2610. It's just some angle iron bolted to existing holes in the left side loader mount with a piece of 3/4" solid rod, and an old inner race from a CV joint welded on top. I think it's kinda cool.

Lights on my LX2610, one of a few things I've done...so far

So my LX2610 showed up in my yard on January 31. I've done a number of "projects" on its far, here are the ROPS mounted lights.
