I go lazy and ordered the parts to plumb gauge from Amazon. Should have it when I’m home from work, and will try. I did get 1/8 bpst adaptor. I just want to make sure, but the thermostat switch is the one further back on the tractor, and the vacuum switch further forward?

Quick question about the vacuum gauge. Is there any reason I couldn’t add a braided line to get the gauge up near the cockpit so I can monitor while I run? was going to get 1/8 bspt to 1/4 npt elbow to braided line to a gauge.

I didn’t do finger test, but I did change out a hydraulic coupler right after parking and fluid was warm but not hot. Now, that fluid near the coupler probably wasn’t circulating where temps would be higher. I have not tested switches, haven’t found an explanation on how to test, only theory of...

General answer would be it’s an ‘Easy Checker’ system light that is meant to indicate a constriction in the system, typically hydraulic filter. Per the WSM I’m browsing it is detected via a vacuum switch and a thermostat switch. Really hope it’s not the vacuum switch as they are discontinued...

Well, after a new filter and fluid the hyraulic pressure light went away. I do have another question if someone could answer? what is this open hole in my transmission casing with access through the cockpit floor? Missing dipstick? As I drove the tractor I think some fluid sloshed out.. trying...
