Thanks! Yeah I've got access to a shop and tools. Just download the 300+ page service manual so I can start digging through that. Is there a way to tell for sure that's the issue before I tear into it, or are you pretty confident that's what's wrong? Should I consider replacing anything else...

That's sounds like a bad thing 😬. I just bought this February 1st. Decided to take a chance even with the noise. Let me guess they have to dismantle the tractor and it's going to cost thousands to fix?
