Hey it is to assist with lifting the blower, if you have ever used one you know its heavy, it will also keep the blower from slamming down on the ground. If you find the springs let me know as I have been looking for years

I have the quick attach on the BX1500 so I don't see why they would not work. The only thing I see is where does the hydraulic cylinder attach to, is it the quick mount on the tractor or the mount that comes with the front part of the blade
